NTRC is seeking an In-process inspector with 3-5 years of experience and/or training in final inspection of sub-assemblies and final assemblies through various stages of manufacturing, utilizing blue prints, Engineering Change Notices, and Inter-divisional.
Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
Must be completely familiar with Mil Std 454 and/or Mil Std 2000A.· Must meet the requirements of the company-training program.· ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.· Component insertion inspection.· Solder/workmanship inspection on printed circuit boards, multi-wire boards, sub-assemblies and small chassis.· Harness and cable inspection.· Point to point buzz out of wired assemblies and end item spare harnesses.· Conformal coating inspection.· Training in one or more of the following: strip force testing of solderless wrapped connections. · Tensile strength testing and tool inspection for crimping operations.· Auditing of ionic contamination test (prior to conformal coating operation).· Auditing of conformal coating process and inspection of sample for thickness test.· Performs other duties as directed.
