Part Time Accounting Clerk (8121)

Minimum Background, Experience, and Requirements:

· High School Diploma, Associate’s Degree a plus

· 3 – 5 years Bookkeeping/Accounts Payable experience

· Experience with Paychex Flex or a similar product a plus

· Computer skills including working in Microsoft Office suite

· Ability to prioritize and multitask

· Reliable, good work ethic, high integrity

· Professional appearance

Tasks / Responsibilities:

· Provides accounting and clerical assistance to accounting staff

· Maintains accurate accounting documents and records

· Accounts Payable administration includes processing invoices and issuance of payments

· Accounts Receivable including: preparation of daily invoices, maintaining customer and vendor records

· Disburses petty cash by recording entry and verifying documentation

· Records and reconciles monthly credit card expense transactions and statements

· Checks balances against accounting receipt records

· Reviews and submits weekly payroll

· Additional tasks and clerical support as needed.
